Old Fashioned Meme Hop with Trash Can Bloggers

                                              

This is my very first Meme I have ever done. Makes sense right? Seeing as how my blog is pretty darn new. It looks like tons of fun on Trash Can Bloggers & since Ashley over at Parsimoniouspash has seen fit to tag me I better get started!

• With the exception of the computer, what can you hear?  Grey's Anatomy on the TV & the neighbor mowing his grass. He has been mowing for hours. I'm a bit concerned...
• If you could live anywhere in the world, where would you live?  If not right here where I am, then where my fiance if from in SoCal
• Do you have a garden? Nope. The best I can do is a few pots of flowers & herbs. But I take a lot of pride in my pot-decorating skills!
• If you could eat lunch with one famous person, who would it be?  I never have an answer for this question but I do now. Jesus. For sure.
• What time is bed time?  That's a joke right? Lately it has been 1 or 2 am
• What’s under your bed? 9 pairs of my flip flops & some dust which I'm going to have to deal with right away.
• Do you sing in the shower? No. I would feel awful if I deafened someone for life
• How many keys on your key ring?  4. 2 house, 1 for my car, 1 for Mom's car
• How far away from your birthplace do you live now?  Right outside the window, across the street. About a 2 minute walk & I am slow.
• Are you a morning person or a night owl?  I wonder if I will ever know what it's like to be a morning person!

Day 3: Your idea of the perfect first date

   I happen to think that first dates have the potential to be pretty terrible sometimes. Second only to maybe blind dates! I don't have anything cheesy I can say so I won't! I guess the date depends on the guy you are going out with & there's nothing I love more than a date night with my hard working fiancee, Baker. He works more than any man I have ever dated before so if we get some time I just want to spend it together. Just going f or dinner and/or a movie is perfect. To be perfectly honest, I don't think this counts as a date but I LOVE it when we cuddle up & watch a movie or one of our favorite TV shows like Big Brother. Usually when we do this our daughter comes in & cuddles right up between us, takes up all the room & lays on her Daddy's chest. It's the sweetest thing ever & it certainly makes for a wonderful evening! Does this mean that my man has lucked out & I am really easy to please?

Tonight for dinner I made a really hefty lasagne. My daughter invited her BFF from 2 doors down to eat with us & by the time I got to the food to eat myself, this was all that was left. I guess dinner was pretty good! I think the key was the 7 different cheeses :)

This was a wonderful day that I spent with my daughter & my JoJo. (She's my grandmother but we've never called her that :) We all went shopping for Katie's birthday gifts & she wanted new shoes & clothes for school wich is right up JoJo & my alley! We picked out some very fashionable things, had a great lunch & stopped in on the way back home to see my Pop. Later on, Katie took this picture because she liked the way 

my hair was curled.

This photo has everything I love. It's at my sister & brother-in-law's home. My brother had taught my daughter how to ride his long board (skateboard) down the driveway & she was having a blast. My brother is in the background walking around with his guitar, playing really great music. My sister, my brother-in-law, their friend & my awesome lil baby niece are all chillin out back there & they are having a few beers. It was a perfect evening with all my favorite people. This photo is full of people I love & it makes me so very happy :)

Day 29 #30DaysofMe Hopes & Dreams

Day 29 What are your hopes, dreams & plans for the next 365 days?

   My first go-to is always to try & stay as healthy as I can. To take my meds, get to all my doctor's visits & try to keep from getting too badly sick or run down. That's kind of a drag to have as one of your hopes & dreams though. I really want to make sure I am doing everything possible to make my daughter happy & to be sure she has everything she wants & needs. I'd love to keep blogging & grow this into something I can really be proud of. I love learning new things about blogging & I want to keep going in the right direction for positive things to happen for me there. I want my fiance not to have to work so hard & be frustrated with his job. He works hard & he works a lot & he deserves not to be so stressed out about everything while he's working so diligently to take care of our family. There is a business that I'd like to start within the next year. Of course I can't give any of that away until I'm all ready to launch it now could I? Most of all I want my family to be together & just be happy. I want to be close as I am with my sister & my brother & our families to be able to get together for holidays or just whatever & enjoy  each other. I feel like we're all on a good path & I just want that to continue for all of us. That's not asking too much I don't think. I mean I'm not wishing to win the lottery or anything. I just want everyone I love to be happy & healthy & together.
